The event provides opportunities for personal, technical and professional-skill development and practical, “hands-on” experience working under the guidance of the IGBS’ professional crew. Students will learn technical skills and also have the opportunity to work and network with industry professionals and the international media community.
A great opportunity to take an active role in a world class sporting event taking place in your country!
Thanks to the agreements with our partner universities, the Broadcast Legacy Programme can offer skills development and ‘real-life work experience’ to hundreds of students in the host cities of the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018. The partner universities offer courses in broadcasting, communication, sports journalism and engineering, which are relevant skillsets for participation in the programme.
We have collaborated with the following ten universities based in Jakarta, Bandung and Palembang to launch our Broadcast Legacy Programme. We are looking forward to having a fruitful association with them and active student participation.
